These terms are the agreement between you and Joseph Fernandez for the use of Statlex. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.
If you are a coach adding players to a roster, you confirm you have permission to enter their details — from the player if they are an adult, and from a parent or guardian if they are under 18.
A tool for recording baseball games and calculating statistics from what you record. Coaches create seasons, add players, log games, and score them. Players see their own statistics.
We may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your data, display it back to you and the people you have given access to, and back it up.
We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
Statlex calculates statistics from what you record. If a play is recorded incorrectly, the statistics will be wrong.
Statlex is currently free. If we introduce paid plans we will give notice before any charge applies to you, and you will be able to stop using the service rather than pay.
We try to keep Statlex running but do not promise it will always be available. It may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, or problems with services we rely on. We are not liable for games you could not score during an outage.
You can stop using Statlex at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why first.
Statlex is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities, or lost profits arising from your use of Statlex. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will tell you by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Statlex after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
